This year my eye opening crop was romaine lettuce. I started way too many seedlings and felt the need to plant all of them. We had fresh salads every day for a few months in early spring and summer, but it got too overwhelming. We couldn't eat it fast enough! We picked mostly fresh, gave tons away and started putting some in the refrigerator to preserve it a little longer. This winter I am calculating exactly how much I need to grow next year for our family (and a little extra to give away)so I don't get overwhealmed. Last year I started growing biointensively (www.bountifulgardens.org) The beds are double dug, ammended with compost and the plants are planted closer - requiring less water and weeding. I had better yields growing this way and the plants seemed healthier and less resistant to pests.

I will recommend not to hold off until you earn enough cash to order goods! You should take the credit loans or financial loan and feel yourself free

Good info about the hairy vetch. I have a hard time with tomatoes. I really have problems getting them started. Actually it is getting them to grow big enough to transplant well that is my problem. Once they are in the garden, they tend to get away from me easily. That's a plant that I'm going to work hard on next year.

I suggested that rapid and accelerating changes in the way that legal process work (the gathering and organization of documents and information) is staffed and priced has significantly influenced the extent of the associate layoffs and the reduction in entry-level hiring among larger law firms in the last few years. The result is that most large law firms have far fewer partnership-track associates today than they did, say, five years ago, and that seems unlikely to change substantially anytime soon, even as the economy recovers.
